Exterior Surface Preparation and Painting

A lasting exterior paint job begins with proper preparation. We thoroughly cleaned and prepared the exterior surfaces, filled visible cracks, and applied primer wherever needed to promote proper adhesion and create a more uniform finish.

We professionally matched the home’s existing exterior colors, preserving its original appearance while giving it a clean and refreshed look. The exterior was finished with premium Sherwin-Williams Duration Exterior paint, selected for its durability and protection against Central Florida’s intense sunlight, humidity, and changing weather.

The project also included painting a chimney located on the home’s metal roof. This area required careful access and detailed preparation to ensure a professional, durable finish.

Porte Cochere Ceiling Transformation

One of the standout features of the project was the home’s 16-foot porte cochere. We repainted the structure and introduced a beautiful new sky-blue color on the ceiling. This fresh color added character and created a bright, welcoming entrance while complementing the home’s existing exterior palette.

Interior Color Transformation

The interior was completely transformed using five coordinated Sherwin-Williams colors from interior designer Millie Hart’s Clary Sage palette. These carefully selected colors created a warm, comfortable flow throughout the home while giving each space its own distinct appearance.

We used premium Sherwin-Williams Duration Interior paint and applied two complete coats to the walls and ceilings for consistent color, coverage, and durability. With ceilings reaching approximately 15 feet, the project required specialized equipment, careful planning, and close attention to detail.

Protecting the Home’s Natural Wood Trim

The homeowner wanted to preserve the existing natural wood trim, which had previously been finished with polyurethane. Before painting began, we carefully masked and protected the trim, floors, furniture, fixtures, and every other surface that was not receiving paint.

This detailed preparation allowed us to create clean paint lines and complete the color transformation without altering the appearance of the home’s natural woodwork.

Door Preparation and Finishing

The interior doors were thoroughly cleaned and prepared before painting. Primer was applied where needed, followed by two coats of topcoat to create a smooth, durable, and professionally finished surface.
